Dr. Amy Rothermel has been an audiologist for more than twenty years. A Minnesota native, she graduated from St. Olaf College in Northfield, MN, before traveling the country with her active-duty military husband. They were excited to return to the beautiful North country after her husband retired in 2021. When they’re not visiting their two adult children, they love to travel, often hitting the road in their RV, pets in tow, to try out new camping spots.
Dr. Rothermel earned her doctorate from Salus University in Pennsylvania, and she enjoyed working with a wide variety of communities as she traveled the country, including in schools and with a major hearing aid manufacturer.
She has a passion for hearing technology, especially assistive devices, such as the small, portable microphones that connect with hearing aids.
Feel free to ask her about the hearing aids and assistive devices her own family members prefer to use!
